Ashutosh Ganguly, widely known as Ash King, found his breakthrough in Bollywood through the legendary A. R. Rahman, famously recording his debut for the film "Delhi-6" at Rahman's personal studio. Rahman, impressed by the 25-year-old's remarkable voice, extended an invitation to King at his London residence, subsequently flying him to Chennai to record at his private studio. This marked the inception of King's prolific journey in the Indian music industry.

King's repertoire boasts numerous notable tracks, including "Te Amo" from the film "Dum Maaro Dum," "I Love You" from "Bodyguard," and his feature on "Suno Aisha" from the movie "Aisha."

Beyond Bollywood, Ash King showcased his talent by featuring on the official remix of Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" in the Just Dance remix album, prominently featured in the Asian release of the album.

His prominence extends beyond Bollywood, as he's a respected singer in the UK. King co-wrote and sang "Love Is Blind" alongside singer Ramzi and featured on "Look For Me" with Hard Kaur. In 2011, he graced significant UK events like the Glastonbury Festival for BBC and headlined the main stage at the BBC London Mela.

Post-2011, Ash King expanded his repertoire by contributing to the Bengali song "Kothin" for the film "Bojhena Shey Bojhena." He also mesmerized audiences in MTV India's 'MTV Unplugged' – Series 2, dedicated to showcasing his chart-topping hits, sharing the stage with luminaries like A R Rahman, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan.

His musical journey continued to soar as he headlined a concert at London's Southbank Centre in April 2013, sharing the stage with the acclaimed Sufi/Bollywood singer Harshdeep Kaur, further solidifying his global musical impact.
